- Helen Darke Added February 09, 2021★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆3 years ago we bought a decorative gas fireplace from Real flame to convert our existing heritage fireplace to gas. The first one was faulty and was really hard to turn on. After much hoo ha, they replaced it. The second unit was fab until the night the unit caught fire and the on/ off dial melted on the ground. Luckily we caught it in time. Now weeks on and we can’t get in contact with Real Flame. I call and leave voice messages and messages through the contact page on their website. I contacted the guy who installed it who said to expect 4-6 weeks for service! Really!!!! Dangerous product and seriously poor service. Stay away from Real Flame!

They installed an Element 1200, after site visits for a new build, and working directly with the builder. The heater is now the focal point in the house and it heats up downstairs quickly and we can even feel it upstairs as well. Looks great, works wonderfully, so happy with product and service.
